I INSTALL USING QUALITY SLAVIC HAIR EXTENSIONS FLAT-HEAT FIXING METHOD.
I am a senior master, I have been working with hair extensions since 2006.
IMPORTANT CONDITIONS SO THAT HAIR EXTENSIONS WITH KERATIN FIXATION ARE NOT HARMFUL TO YOUR HAIR:
- the strand of your hair to which the hair extension is attached must not be too thin. About 0.5cm x 0.5cm is about right.
- must not be in an upright position but fall freely.
- the attachment must not be too close to the scalp. There should be a distance of about 0.5 cm.
- you must not put two strands of a proper hair extension together so that there are "fewer attachments".
- the fastening must be securely fastened both from the bottom and from the top and must not have sharp edges.
- when removing, you need to untie the attachment properly so as not to pull your hair into a knot like a ribbon.
If you follow these simple and logical rules, your hair will grow beautifully with extensions.
Unfortunately, in my work, I have seen how keratin extensions have made "holes" in people's heads, and worst of all, bald spots where hair no longer grows. And then the client was told that keratin attachments are not suitable for him. Fortunately for many unfortunate people, the extensions installed under my hand have remained beautiful and have been able to grow their "holes" together with the extensions over the years.
Installation and removal of hair extensions should not be a painful procedure. And after installation, there may be a slightly unpleasant feeling for up to 3 days, but not painful.
FYI!
If you buy keratin tipped hair extensions online that are suspiciously cheap, make sure the tip still has keratin in it. Usually there is silicone at the end, which you can recognize by the fact that it has a yellowish tone and is easy to bend. Keratin is transparent and very difficult to bend. The silicone attachment starts to pull the hair after installation and the locks of hair may not stay on the head.
WHO ARE HAIR EXTENSIONS SUITABLE FOR?
Useful to know before you decide to extend your hair.
Who is the hair extension procedure suitable for?
For all those who want to add to their hair: length, density, color or correct a failed haircut! Certainly also for those who are looking for a change and want to completely change their appearance quickly.
Not suitable for customers with:
· scalp diseases (psoriasis, trichotillomania, seborrheic dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, folliculitis)
· previously damaged hair (blonded to look like cotton wool, breakage and dry hair)
· severe hair loss (severe chronic disease, thyroid disease, poor blood circulation, after a major operation, postpartum period, etc.)
How long can I wear hair extensions?
If the hair extension has been properly installed and maintained, 3-4 months is a completely safe wearing period. The longer the hair extension has grown out, the harder it is to wear extensions on your own hair.
In most cases, after 3-4 months, the extensions must either be removed or the locks must be raised again.
How long does the installation take?
Before installation, a consultation is required, during which hair extensions suitable in terms of structure and color are selected. If necessary, dye your hair before installation, but be sure to wash with a deep cleansing shampoo. It takes an average of 1.5-3 hours for installation and 2-3 hours for removal. The time required for the procedure is individual and depends on the thickness of the client's hair and the number of hair extensions to be installed.
How long should your st. client's hair?
The length should be at least 10 cm
Which extension technology to choose?
lEnglish method ie. fixing with a glue gun - the glue breaks down quickly, so the installation is not permanent and the hair comes off a lot when combing.
"Micro ring" capsule - the extension is installed using small capsules. The capsule damages the hair (mechanical friction)
Heat-fixing uses heat to melt the keratin. In the flat attachment, the hair remains in its natural position, it prevents the hair from being crushed and makes it much easier to remove strands. Clamping pliers work at a temperature of 150-180 degrees. Considered the best fastening technique worldwide. Heat 150-180 does not damage the client's hair in a few seconds (for example, the heat of curling irons is 200-220 degrees.
