What is permanent makeup?
Permanent make-up is like tattooing, in which techniques similar to tattooing are used and pigments intended for this purpose. With permanent makeup, it is possible to fill in the eyebrow line, make a beautiful liner line on both the upper and lower eyelids, and contour and color the lips. Despite its name, permanent makeup is not permanent for life. Unlike a tattoo, permanent makeup is applied to the surface layers of the skin and with pigments that do not contain preservatives, which is why permanent makeup stays on the skin for about 1-3 years and then needs to be refreshed.
How long does the permanent makeup procedure last?
On average 1.5-2.5h (depends on the area and its size and the characteristics of the skin)
Do I need a repeat procedure?
Color pigment is unevenly distributed in the skin, and the process of its attachment to the skin is different for everyone. Therefore, a repeat procedure (follow-up care) is recommended within one to two months after the first procedure. The need and frequency of follow-up care depends on the client's skin type. If you have oily skin, you should be prepared for the fact that more than one follow-up treatment may be necessary.
Factors affecting durability are, for example:
*sweating
* body characteristics and skin type
* age-related skin changes
* pregnancy and breastfeeding
* The effect of UV radiation
How long does permanent makeup take to heal? What is home care?
It should be taken into account that a little redness and swelling may occur after the procedure, mostly in the case of lip and liner permanent makeup. Based on the experiences of my clients, I can say that on average, recovery takes 5-10 days, but it is different for everyone and depends on the characteristics of the body and the process of skin renewal. For home care, we give instructions by talking on the spot.
Who is not suitable for permanent makeup?

* insulin-dependent diabetes
* cancer treatment and oncological diseases

You cannot be a blood donor 3-6 months after the last procedure. Talk to your doctor about it!
How to behave after the procedure?
In order for the pigment to adhere better and to achieve the best result, you should be willing to meet the following requirements:
* do not drink alcohol within 24 hours after the procedure
* avoid sauna, solarium, sweating, swimming pool for 7-14 days after the procedure (light exercise is allowed)
* refrain from any make-up products, anti-aging creams in the pigmented area for 7-14 days after the procedure (only high-quality natural mineral cosmetics are allowed)

Is applying permanent makeup painful?
Several customers have said that, for example, eyebrow plucking has caused them more pain and discomfort than permanent makeup. So we dare to say that it is not painful. We use numbing creams. But people are different and everyone's pain threshold is very different, and some people may experience discomfort during the procedure.
Is permanent makeup safe?
We confirm that the place where the procedures are performed and the tools we use during the procedures are completely sterile or disposable. The needles are for single use. Permanent make-up can cause side effects such as redness, swelling and sensitivity, which usually go away within a few hours. The pigments we use are of high quality and hypoallergenic and therefore also suitable for allergy sufferers.
How to prepare yourself for the permanent makeup procedure?
* Familiarize yourself with what is happening. Read about the permanent makeup procedure so that you know as precisely as possible what it entails. If you know exactly what is going to happen, it will be easier for you in every way.
* If possible, avoid different activities on the same day. Everyone's skin reacts differently to the procedure, and therefore, after the procedure, on the same day, your skin may experience redness and swelling.
* Arrive for the procedure with minimal make-up.
* Tell the person performing the procedure about your allergies and chronic diseases and pregnancy.
* Do not take different medications before the procedure and certainly do not take painkillers.
* Do not consume alcohol and coffee at least 24 hours before the procedure!
* Avoid products containing tretinoin (Retin A) in the eyebrow area at least 2 weeks before coming for the procedure.
* Avoid anti-aging products in the permanent makeup area at least 2 weeks before coming for the procedure.
* Do not pluck your eyebrows at least 1 week before the procedure (to ensure the correct tone and shape, it is important to see the color and shape of your eyebrows)
What if I don't like the end result?
The result can be corrected as much as needed. It is also possible to see the outline of the permanent make-up right from the start. We also emphasize that the care after the first procedure is not final, 98% of people also need follow-up care. However, since applying permanent makeup is definitely a weighty decision, it is worth thinking it through first, just like any important decision in your life! Every permanent makeup artist has their own signature, choose the one that suits you!
Covering old permanent makeup/microblading
Old permanent makeup or microblading can be covered with a new procedure if it is not dark blue or dark gray (eyebrows). If the shape is ugly or you don't like it anymore, the tone is too dark and bluish-gray, we recommend removing it with a laser.
Permanent make-up of eyebrows that have become pink or red over time can be corrected with a neutralizing shade.
The permanent make-up is done, but you still need to apply more make-up
The point of permanent makeup is to save precious time and, most importantly, to feel beautiful and well-groomed in the morning. But if you are used to strong eyebrow, eye or lip make-up, you will inevitably feel that the permanent make-up is still not enough and you will start applying more make-up, and this is normal! However, if you like a light, natural look, then permanent makeup is enough.
Guide to home permanent makeup care:
Permanent make-up of eyebrows: For the first 2 days, wipe the eyebrows with a wet cotton swab with light pressure every few hours. This way you clear the tissue fluid and smaller crusts will form later. From the third day, you can apply a moisturizing cream to your eyebrows a few times a day. Apply the cream in a small and gentle layer! Crusts start to appear on about the fourth day and you must not pick them off yourself! The crusts will come off in about 7-10 days. During this period, avoid make-up products on the eyebrows, excessive water, sauna, swimming, sun, solarium and intense exercise. After the crusts are removed or the pigment appears light. Complete healing takes a month, only then can the correct pigment tone be seen, and within a month the tone will become darker. After healing, the shape becomes softer and visually narrower. Follow-up care is suitable to be done 1-3 months after the first procedure.
Permanent eye make-up:
With liner permanent make-up, the eyes can be cleaned with a wet cotton swab every few hours for the first 2 days. The eyes may be swollen for the first two days. If the diffused part becomes very dry and itchy, you can apply a little moisturizing cream on it from the third day, but it is not necessary. The eyes will heal themselves and the use of the cream is not mandatory. Crusts start to appear on about the fourth day and you must not pick them off yourself! The crusts will come off in about 7 days. Keep your eyes clean! During this period, avoid eye make-up, mascara, excess water, sauna, swimming, sun, solarium and intense exercise. Complete healing takes a month, only then can the correct pigment tone be seen. Follow-up care is suitable to be done 1-3 months after the first procedure.
The improvement and speed of permanent make-up is very individual for all customers. Some clients need more than one follow-up treatment so that the result is maximally good and remains uniform and beautiful for a long time.
